PROUDLY SERVING

Mayville EMS is an independent, Advanced Emergency Medical Service located at 102 Mill Place in Mayville, Wisconsin. While we operate independently from local fire departments, we work closely alongside them to provide seamless emergency response throughout our region.

Since upgrading to the Advanced EMT level in 2003, our providers have been able to deliver a higher level of prehospital care, including IV therapy and the administration of critical life-saving medications in the field and during transport.

Today, Mayville EMS covers approximately 114 square miles and responded to 1,199 calls in 2025. As of the start of 2026, we now proudly provide transport services for the City of Mayville, Village of Iron Ridge, Town and Village of Lomira, Town and Village of Theresa, and Town of Leroy. What was once considered a small-town ambulance service has evolved into a trusted regional provider serving multiple contracted communities.

Equipped for Excellence

Our fleet includes four fully equipped Life Line ambulances (2012, 2015, 2019, and our newest 2024 model), ensuring reliable response and modern patient care capabilities. Much of our equipment is funded through grants, fundraising efforts, and community donations, helping reduce the financial burden on local taxpayers while maintaining a high standard of care.

Despite national challenges facing rural EMS systems, including staffing shortages, funding limitations, and training gaps Mayville EMS continues to grow, maintain strong response times, and deliver professional Advanced EMT services recognized across county lines.

Medical Control

Aurora Summit

In March 2001, Aurora announced plans to build a new hospital in the Pabst Farms development that was in the jurisdiction of the city of Oconomowoc.

It was to be Aurora's first hospital in Waukesha County.

The new Aurora Medical Center campus in the Town of Summit is at the southeast corner of Interstate 94 and Highway 67. The new Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic was to be on the west side of the campus, and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic is on the south side.
